Letter Carriers to Collect Food Donations Saturday
This is the 21st year for Stamp out Hunger!, a food drive conducted by the National Association of Letter Carriers.

The National Association of Letter Carriers will host its 21st annual nationwide Stamp Out Hunger! Food Drive on May 11.
Customers can leave non-perishable food donations in a bag near their mailbox on Saturday, before their letter carrier arrives.
Items of particular need include:

- Foods high in protein, such as canned meats and fish, rice, pasta, salmon, beans and peanut butter.
- Canned fruits and vegetables
- Whole grain, low-sugar cereals
- Macaroni and cheese dinners
- 100 percent fruit juice
Donations collected will be delivered to a local community food banks and food pantries for distribution.
Last year, letter carriers collected more than 200,000 pounds of food in metro Atlanta.

Since 1993, Stamp Out Hunger! has collected more than 1 billion pounds of food. It is the nation’s largest single-day food drive.
