Parkview Cluster, Norcross Cluster to Welcome New Principals

Valerie Robinett becomes the new principal at Camp Creek Elementary, and Marci Sledge becomes the new principal at Pinckneyville Middle School.

In a special called meeting May 9, Gwinnett County school board appointed two veteran educators to take over for retiring principals.

In a special called meeting May 9, board members approved the transfer of Valerie Robinett to Camp Creek Elementary School, and Marci Sledge to Pinckneyville Middle School.

Robinett is currently the principal at Mountain Park Elementary in Lilburn, where she has been since 2008. Effective June 3, she takes over for Kathy Jones.

Sledge is currently principal at Trip Elementary in Grayson, where she has been since 2008. Effective July 1, she takes over for Wanda Yeargin.
