• Gwinnett County Police Seek Tips In Snellville Death Investigation (thegeorgiasun.com) — Gwinnett County police are investigating a deadly shooting after officers found a man fatally wounded early Sunday on Saddle Ridge Drive in unincorporated Snellville. Detectives say the incident appears isolated with no immediate danger to the public, and they’re asking anyone with information to contact GCPD or Crime Stoppers, where anonymous tips could earn a cash reward.
   

• Thieves break into restaurants across Gwinnett County, police say (wsbtv.com) — Multiple restaurants in Gwinnett County, including Italian Pie, Subway, and Touchdown Wings, were hit by smash-and-grab thieves on New Year’s Day, with cash registers and money stolen. Gwinnett County police believe the same crew is responsible and are reviewing surveillance video as owners struggle with damage, lost income, and fears the burglars may strike again.
   

• Metro Atlanta protests grow after ICE killing of Renee Good (fox5atlanta.com) — Protesters gathered outside the Gwinnett County Justice and Administration Center in Lawrenceville Sunday, joining metro Atlanta demonstrations against ICE following the fatal shooting of Renee Good in Minneapolis. Local organizers say they’re calling for justice for Good and highlighting concerns about increased ICE activity affecting Gwinnett residents, while additional protests continue across Atlanta.
