Senate Runoff Prompts Digital Learning Day At Gwinnett Schools
Gwinnett County Public Schools said the digital learning day will take place on Dec. 6 due to Election Day voting.
GWINNETT COUNTY, GA — All Gwinnett County public schools will have a digital learning day Tuesday, Dec. 6, Election Day, due to the U.S. Senate runoff.
The runoff is between U.S. Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock and challenger Herschel Walker.
According to school officials, 52 schools will be used for voting on Election Day.

Students will not have virtual classes with their teachers but will have access to lessons in eClass, school officials said.
School buses will deliver free breakfast and lunch to students at each bus stop, school officials said. The meals are for anyone 18 years old and younger, school officials said.

Buses will run their routes from about 10:45 a.m.-noon, starting with the first stops on the route, school officials said.
