Suwanee Wraps Up SculpTour 2012

The city will buy two of the outdoor art pieces.The new SculpTour will roll out in May.

Suwanee officials have closed the books on the second edition of the SculpTour outdoor art program. And two of the pieces will be bound for another city park.

According to city documents, "Weathervane" and "Audubon Watcher" will be purchased by the city, and are proposed to be relocated to Sims Lake Park. "Weathervane," by Al Garnto, was the "people's choice" winner in voting on the city website.

Sims Lake Part thus is becoming a sort of second exhibit site for SculpTour. and donated to the city. It has been put on display at Sims Lake Park.
