Shoppers are safe after a suspicious package found at the Home Depot on Sixes Road earlier today turned out to be "nothing," said Lt. Tanya Smith with the . 

Cobb County Bomb Squad technicians were dispatched the scene after the package was found.

Eyewitness reports said authorities appeared to be surrounding a Volvo, but Smit said was not true.

"No, no one is blowing up a Volvo," she said.
