• Fire Destroys Barn in Cherokee County on Christmas (thegeorgiasun.com) — A barn fire on South Holly Springs Road in Cherokee County lit up the area on Christmas night, but thankfully no people or animals were hurt. Fire crews quickly contained the blaze to the barn itself, and investigators are now working to determine what sparked the flames near the Holly Springs community.
