Death Notice: Billie Johnson

Billie Ray Johnson, 81, of Canton, died Sept. 29 at Northside Hospital Cherokee. 

Johnson was a Korean War veteran, and a member of the Birmingham Baptist Church and the Veterans of Foreign Affairs.  

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Oct. 2 at the chapel of the South Canton funeral home. Internment will follow at the Green Lawn Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 1 at the South Canton Funeral Home. 

He is survived by his son, Michael Johnson of Roswell.
