Death Notice: Jim Hooton

Jim Hooton, 66, of Canton, died Sept. 26 at Northside Hospital Cherokee.

Hooton was a Vietnam veteran, served in the United States Air Force and was a glass glazier for 35 years with Binswanger Glass.

Survivors include his wife, Sandie Hooton, Canton; sister, Jackie Sessions, Canton; niece Joni (George) Jance, Canton; nephew, Gary (Christy) Sessions, Greenville, SC; nieces Gail (Gregg) Moxley, West Palm Beach, FL, Lori (TJ) Hall, Canton; great nieces and nephews, Megan Jance, George Jance II, Edon Sessions, Brandon Hall and Louis Hall.

There will be no funeral services. 

The family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
