Indian Knoll Elementary Opens with Ribbon Cutting

The new elementary school celebrated its first few months in businesses with a party and ribbon cutting.

, Cherokee County School's newest facility, hosted a formal ribbon cutting on Oct. 4.

members, PTA officials, community members and school administrators came out to the celebration.

Indian Knoll opened for the 2011-12 school year and houses 900 students in kindergarten through sixth grade this year, with room for an additional 350 children, according to a press release from the school system.
