Law Enforcement Talks Pill Mills
One of Cherokee County's hot topics was addressed at a recent meeting of the minds.
For months we've been hearing the term "pill mill" thrown around conversations about Cherokee County, and now law enforcement officials are doing something about it.
The hosted the “North Georgia Prescription Drug Conference” last week in Canton, according to a press release from the Sheriff's Office.
More than 100 law enforcement officers, doctors, pharmacist, and government leaders were in attended the conference to learn about pill mills, pharmaceutical investigation, ethics in pain treatment and addiction.
