SUV Rolls into Ditch, Driver OK
After striking a culvert a rolling into a ditch, a Hickory Flat driver denied transport to the hospital.
A 23-year-old male crashed his Honda SUV into a culvert on Highway 140 in front of AmeriGas Company around 1 p.m. today. The SUV rolled and landed in a ditch on its side before the driver was able to escape, said Tim Cavender with the
Initial reports said the SUV left the highway and went over a gray Ford before crashing. The drivers of the Ford, an elderly couple, were evaluated but unharmed. There was no damage to their car, Cavender said.Â
The cause of the accident is under investigation.Â
