Tornado Test in Cherokee
As part of Severe Weather Preparedness Week, the National Weather Service will conduct a tornado drill at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
At 9 a.m. today, you can expect to hear tornado sirens and emergency alert messages on TV as part of a state-wide tornado drill.
The National Weather Service has designated Feb. 6 through 12 as the Georgia Severe Weather Awareness Week with Wednesday as the assigned tornado safety awareness day.
