Atlanta Native Brett Ryder Nominated for 11 Music Awards in 2025 plus New Song Release July 18th

Johns Creek native and rising independent artist Brett Ryder has earned an impressive 11 nominations across two of the industry’s most prestigious independent music award shows—the International Singer Songwriter Awards (ISSA) and the Josie Music Awards (JMAs).

Ryder is nominated in seven categories at the ISSA Awards, which will take place Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the City Springs Performing Arts Center in Sandy Springs, GA. His nominations include:

• Male Vocalist of the Year
• Songwriter of the Year
• Single of the Year for “Walk All Over Me”
• Music Video of the Year for “Why Hold On”
• Rising Star of the Year
• Emerging Artist of the Year
• Musician of the Year

Just a few months later, Ryder will head to Nashville, Tennessee to attend the 2025 Josie Music Awards on Sunday, November 2, held at the iconic Grand Ole Opry House. He is nominated in four categories further recognizing his growing impact on the independent music scene:

• Rising Star of the Year
• Music Video of the Year - “Why Hold On”
• Best Actor in a Music Video - “Why Hold On”
• Song of the Year - Alt/Rock - “Walk All Over Me”
