Autry Mill Sidewalk Project To Begin In Johns Creek
The project would close a gap in the network on Autry Mill Road from Buice Road to an existing sidewalk.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The city of Johns Creek will soon begin construction on a new sidewalk along Autry Mill Road that would improve connectivity to a local school and area park.
The city held a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday to celebrate the project, which closes a gap in the sidewalk network on Autry Mill from Buice Road to an existing sidewalk. The project connects residents to Dolvin Elementary School and Ocee Park. Construction will begin in October, and is expected to wrap up by spring 2019.
Johns Creek Council members at their Aug. 13 meeting voted to award a contract to Construction 57 to build a sidewalk along Autry Mill Road in the amount of $559,710.

Johns Creek City Council members approved a sidewalk priority list in 2017. According to that prioritized sidewalk list, the highest ranked segment not yet under construction or funded by TSPLOST is the gap along Autry Mill Road.
