• Johns Creek Spanish Club donates candy for troops (appenmedia.com) — Students at Johns Creek High School’s Spanish Club just wrapped up their third year partnering with American Legion Post 201 to send candy to U.S. troops overseas. Through their annual trunk-or-treat fundraiser, the club has contributed nearly 600 pounds of candy, supporting the long-running Boxes for the Troops program that has shipped more than 13,000 care packages.
