Why are you seeking elective office?
I am at a point in my life where I can give back, I have a lot of experience and skills that are a right fit for the City Council member role. I also like to serve and contribute and will bring a new perspective to the City Council.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
There are a few but lack of identity for the city and a place where we can all gather is one of them. I will work to make sure the Town Center Vision and Plan keeps moving forward.
What are your short- and long-term goals if you are elected?
I will find ways to introduce efficiency, transparency and eliminate tax dollar waste in the city. I will make sure we make progress with the Town Center Vision and Plan and develop measures that will allow for a solid long term vision for the city.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Experience, flexible, dynamic, inclusive and compassionate leadership. I am uniquely qualified as I have experience in dealing with budgeting, forecasting for large deals along with strategy, implementation and planning for large deals. I also have the ability to look at issues holistically.
If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)?
Didn’t respond.
How do you think local officials performed in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently?
Updates regarding coronavirus were available to the residents of Johns Creek and were helpful. Clearer guidance in regards to the mandates could have been provided.
Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.
Eliminate tax dollar wastage by proper monitoring of progress and decisions being made in regards to the tax dollar spend. We need to have checks and balances in place for ensuring change orders for which the city is being charged are necessary and appropriate. We need to support the Arts, maintain and update our parks and infrastructure and we need to make sure police, fire and other City Departments have the training and technology they need.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
I have been successfully handling large deals through out my career and have handled over $100 Million in the 20 years I have been working. Beyond technology these deals transform organizations, people and processes. I am an agile leader and use collaboration, teaming, fact and data based decision making as tools. Strategy, planning, implementation and innovation are my strengths.

The community, Johns Creek is a great and diverse community to live in.

I am running for Johns Creek City Council Post 2 because I genuinely care about our community. I want to make sure that our local government serves its entire population. I will bring my 21 years of experience as an IT consultant to the table - a career that taught me the importance of collaboration, of teamwork, and of the need to make timely efficient decisions.
