Celebrate National Grandparents Day

Since 1978 the first Sunday after Labor Day has been dedicated to grandma and grandpa.

What happens at Grandma's house, stays at Grandma's house. It only works when the kids remember to wipe the chocolate off their chins before they get picked up, though.

Kidding aside, I consider my grandparents to be one of the greatest gifts I've ever been given. And this Sunday is dedicated to them.

President Jimmy Carter declared Grandparents Day a national holiday in 1978 and is always celebrated the first Sunday after Labor Day.
