City Begins Morton, State Bridge Intersection Project
The project will install a right-turn lane on West Morton Road at State Bridge Road.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Construction has started on a project to improve an intersection in Johns Creek. Crews have kicked off the work to install a right turn lane on West Morton Road at State Bridge Road.
This project will also include resurfacing Morton Road from Avian Drive to State Bridge Road. Adding a right turn lane on West Morton at the State Bridge intersection was a prioritized improvement to the collector roadway system, the city said.
The additional lane will also improve operational efficiency and safety of the transportation system by "addressing existing traffic queuing and improving the alignment of the through lane across State Bridge Road," the city added.
