Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- Cybercriminals are developing new methods to steal personal data from victims online. Recently, claims have been reported of cyber attackers using government websites to dupe U.S. citizens by posting advertisements for hacking services. Johns Creek is one of the numerous city websites where this advertisement was found. (Times of India)
- An ambulance driver in Fulton County is charged in connection with a crash that killed a patient being transported to the hospital. When police officers arrived on the scene, they found a Prime Care EMS ambulance overturned in a ditch with the patient dead. Troopers believe the ambulance driver hit the shoulder, overturning the vehicle, and the passenger wasn't strapped in, causing him to pass from the injuries received in the crash. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- Sunday marked the fifth month since jury selection began for the Young Slime Life gang and racketeering trial. Since court proceedings started in January, no juror has been seated, descending the trial into chaos. During the latest courtroom meeting, deputies arrested two individuals for using a laptop and a phone to communicate with outside sources during the trial. But the court is still searching for a jury, with the selection process continuing next week. (FOX 5 Atlanta)

- Temperatures in Johns Creek are spiking this week, and the local police department asks residents to check the temperature before heading out with their pets. When leaving the house with your dog, remember to touch the pavement with the back of your hand to ensure the ground isn't too hot for your pet's paws. (Johns Creek Police Department via Facebook)
- Chattahoochee River-goers must be aware of rising water levels this week. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will release water from Lake Lanier, resulting in high rising water levels at fast rates. (City of Johns Creek, Georgia via Instagram)
