Darcy Honored with Civitan Honor Key

Diane Darcy was awarded the Civitan Honor Key by the Johns Creek Civitan Club.

JOHNS CREEK, GA – The Johns Creek Civitan Club bestowed its highest honor upon member Diane Darcy at its annual banquet at the Atlanta Athletic Club September 21, 2015.

Darcy, an employee of Meer Electric in Alpharetta, is a charter member of the club, and has volunteered for virtually every project and volunteer opportunity since joining the club. President Glenn Rudh said “We can always count on Diane’s energy for every project, diving in and getting her hands dirty. Her reason for joining our club was to make a difference in the community, which she certainly has achieved”. Included in that list was this year’s Special Needs Prom and the upcoming “Fashion Speaks on the Creek” Fashion Show for individuals with intellectual disabilities, to be held at Johns Creek High School October 2. Tickets may be purchased here.
