The officer also found a note inside the vehicle in which he interpreted as a threat towards his child, Johns Creek police said.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — A city of Duluth police vehicle was vandalized earlier this month in Johns Creek. According to a Johns Creek police incident report, the Duluth police officer said he parked his patrol vehicle during the early evening hours of Friday, Dec. 14.

At around 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, his wife told him she heard "banging" noises coming from the parking lot. The officer said he and his wife didn't think anything of the noise, but when he went to his patrol car just before 7 a.m., he found his vehicle suffered some significant damage.

According to the incident report, all four tires on the Dodge Charger had been deflated and there were multiple strikes and holes on the driver's side window. Its windshield had also been hit multiple times and was afflicted with holes. The report indicates the holes on the driver's side window appeared to have rust or red residue possibly stemming from the tool used to cause the damage.
