  1. The Johns Creek City Council recently approved a zoning change for Emory Johns Creek's expansion plan. At the end of the 20-year plan, the facility will be 1.6 million square feet. (Subscription: Atlanta Journal Constitution)
  2. The Bowman family, of Johns Creek, reached out to Channel 2 Consumer Investigator Justin Gray for help after three years with defective doors in their new home. The Bowman family has been waiting for the Providence Group to replace the doors since 2019. Larry Bowman said, "This builder was more than happy to receive our money to build the home. Now, all we ask is you honor your commitment to address the problem." After Channel 2 contacted the company, a spokesperson said the new doors have finally arrived and the crews will install them in the Bowman home. (WSB Atlanta)
  3. Kyle Vaka, a junior wide receiver at Johns Creek High School, visited Clemson University over the weekend for the Saturday game against Louisiana Tech. He is on Clemson's recruiting radar and ate dinner with receivers coach Tyler Grisham. He intends to camp at Clemson again next summer. (The Clemson Insider)
