- At the Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) town hall meeting on Wednesday, Sep. 21, Johns Creek mayor and seven other Fulton County city mayors coordinated to speak with the public about LOST revenue for the first time. One Johns Creek resident asked, "why there wasn't an option for no increase in either the county or city's sides." Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts and commissioners Bob Ellis and Marvin Arrington will not approve the negotiations until the county has a bigger share than its current 4.9 percent. The county has multiple upcoming big projects, including the Fulton County Jail. (Appen Media)
- Marlow's Tavern on Old Alabama Road in Johns Creek received a 100 on their last health inspection. The Johns Creek location is the original Marlow's tavern and has been in business for about 20 years. (CBS 46 News)
- On Tuesday, Sep. 27, the Johns Creek Police Department is hosting a Community Expo from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at police headquarters, 11360 Lakefield Drive, 3rd floor.
