Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- T.A. Cunningham, a former five-star football recruit who had previously played for Johns Creek, is claiming unethical agents sabotaged his career. The high school sophomore had previously been promised housing, food, and transportation by the company Levels Sports once they moved to California so he could play for Los Alamitos High School. However, Cunningham and his attorneys allege that the high school student has been barred from playing with his team since he moved - and is no longer receiving any financial support from the company. Cunningham's family is currently homeless as he tries to appeal the decision banning him from football in the hopes that he will once again get the sponsorship he needs. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- The annual family Shindig from Milton Historical Society is this Saturday, and residents are looking forward to a fun and informative day. There will be historical displays (including antique cars), contests with prizes, and a delicious barbecue dinner. The event has been popular around the community since the Historical Society began hosting it back in 2018. Sign up for tickets before they're all gone! (Appen Media)
- There are several new homes available for purchase throughout Johns Creek and neighboring towns. Numerous homes have hit the market recently, and are being snatched up quickly. If you're interested in exploring any of these properties, contact a realtor for more information. (Johns Creek Patch)
