JOHNS CREEK, GA — The city of Johns Creek is gearing up to host its flagship event celebrating the community. The annual Johns Creek Founders Day Parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 1, and will feature crowd favorites such as the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile and princesses from Olivia’s Dollhouse.
Johns Creek's Founders Day Parade, which kicks off at 10 a.m., is perfect for the entire family and marks the start of the north Fulton holiday season, the city said. The 1.4-mile-long parade has grown in popularity with thousands of spectators lining the parade route on State Bridge Road.
The Parade began in 2007 and has since become an important community tradition. The parade has grown to more than 80 units and thousands of participants, including Shriner clowns, local high school clubs and bands, and colorful floats from area businesses, organizations and neighborhoods.
