  1. Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts said the county is concerned about Hurricane Ian, which "could be a problem on Thursday, certainly on Friday so we're getting prepared." The county is in touch with FEMA and monitoring reports out of Florida. Pitts also said, "We're prepared from an emergency management point of view but more importantly handling and accommodating for people who are worried about their safety and being proactive to leave Florida and come to Georgia from Florida, specifically to Fulton County."   2. The Kroger shopping center driveway on Barnwell Road in Johns Creek closed recently for construction and is expected to take close to a year. Drivers can use the entrance/exit on Nesbit Ferry Road or the entrance at Holcomb Bridge Road until construction is finished.   3. The California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) has cleared T.A. Cunningham, 247 Sports' top defensive line prospect in the 2024 class, to play football in California.
