Golf Events Help NFCC Fight Hunger, Homelessness

North Fulton Community Charities will host its Swing Into Action golf tournament in Johns Creek and Golf "FORE" NFCC at Topgolf Alpharetta.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — North Fulton Community Charities volunteers are organizing two golfing events that will help the nonprofit fight hunger and homelessness in the area.

The 11th annual Swing Into Action Golf Tournament will be held Monday, April 29 at the Country Club of the South in Johns Creek. This annual tournament, traditionally a summer event, has been moved to the spring.

In the past, this tournament has raised more than $100,000 to support NFCC in its mission to providing emergency assistance and enrichment programs to its clients. The organization is now accepting sponsorships for the tournament. You can learn more by visiting its website.

"We are excited to be offering two golf fundraising events this spring," said Holly York, director of development at NFCC. "The Swing Into Action Golf Tournament is our largest fundraising event of the year and all the money we raise will help prevent homelessness and hunger in North Fulton. We are also looking forward to our new Golf “FORE” NFCC event because it gives those that might not be as avid as golfers the opportunity to come out for a night of fun that supports NFCC. And if you don’t know anything about us this is a great opportunity to learn more NFCC, the mission and how you can get involved."
