North Fulton Teacher Charged With Child Molestation
Roswell police arrested the former Chattahoochee High School social studies teacher and coach on Monday, Oct. 1.

ROSWELL, GA — A Chattahoochee High School teacher has been arrested and charged with child molestation, the Roswell Police Department said. Preston Paris, 32, a teacher and coach at the school in Johns Creek, was taken into custody Monday, Oct. 1 and charged with child molestation, statutory rape and enticing a child for indecent purposes, the agency said.
Roswell police detectives were contacted last week by their counterparts with the Cobb County Police Department related to an investigation involving an underage victim. That investigation revealed that the alleged crimes occurred in Roswell's city limits.
Roswell detectives worked with Fulton County School Police officers to take Paris "into custody as quickly as possible," the department said.
