- Emory Johns Creek Hospital has announced a 20-year expansion plan in response to rapid growth in Atlanta's northern suburbs. The expansion roadmap, recently approved by the Johns Creek City Council, would see the Emory hospital more than double in size and add medical office spaces along McGinnis Ferry Road. According to an Emory spokesperson, no immediate expansion projects are currently planned, but the plan may eventually include adding or improving cardiac care units, operating rooms, and ambulatory care, emergency, and radiology services.
