Interfaith Panel Explores End-Of-Life Spiritual Care

Emory Healthcare's Spiritual Health department will host the panel Nov. 7 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Emory Healthcare’s Spiritual Health Department will host an interfaith panel discussion next week on end-of-life spiritual care for staff and the community.

The panel will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Emory Johns Creek Hospital. Attendees will learn more about three Abrahamic traditions (Judaism, Christianity and Islam) on appropriate ways to provide compassionate end-of-life spiritual care for patients, family and friends.

Rabbi Judith Beiner, community chaplain for Jewish Family & Career Services in Atlanta, Rev. Kevin Martin of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, and Noor Abbady, co-founder of the Interfaith Speakers Network of Atlanta, will serve as guest speakers.

The panel will be held in classrooms A & B in the lower level at the hospital at 6325 Hospital Parkway in Johns Creek. This event is free and open to the community.
