Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- The Newtown Park echoed with the sound of engines as the Johns Creek Police Department spearheaded the Ride for Vets motorcycle rally, joined by the Johns Creek Veterans Association, Mayor John Bradberry, and Council member Bob Erramilli. More than 40 motorcycles commenced their trip from GA 400 north to Dahlonega, supporting veterans grappling with PTSD. This event served as a platform for veterans to interact with support organizations, medical and legal experts, as well as counselors, fortifying Johns Creek's standing as a center for health, wellness, and innovation. - On Thursday, a crucial public consultation took place in Johns Creek concerning the Medlock Bridge Road at State Bridge Road Revitalization Plan. Mayor Pro Tem Stacy Skinner, along with Council members Larry DiBiase and Bob Erramilli, received local feedback on a diverse range of topics, including land use, housing, street networks, and public spaces. The city invites continued community input via an interactive tool until June, with another public discussion slated for Aug. 17 at City Hall.
