- State Senate and House candidates will face off in a debate moderated by Johns Creek students. On Sep. 28, Student Leadership Johns Creek will host three pairs of rival candidates beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Northview High School. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- The Roswell City Council approved an agreement with Johns Creek for the $8.5 million TSPLOST II Nesbit Ferry Road project. Johns Creek City Council had already approved the project. View the link for details. (The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
- Yesterday, Sep. 2, a suspect driving a Dodge Durango was fleeing the Cobb County police during a traffic stop and drove into Fulton County. Georgia State Patrol said the suspect was driving on the wrong side of the road when the Dodge collided with a Honda Pilot near Roosevelt Highway and Delano Road. The driver in the Honda died at the scene of the crash and the suspect driving the Doge was arrested. (Fox 5 Atlanta)

- The Johns Creek Police Department posted about a lost puppy found at Cameron Parc Drive and State Bridge Road. A healthy gray Pit mix female puppy that was uncollared and unchipped.
