Johns Creek Leaders Approve Contract For Asphalt Patching
The City Council approved a half-million contract with E.R. Snell Contractors to perform the work along five major thoroughfares.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The Johns Creek City Council on Monday voted to approve a contract with a company to perform asphalt patching and edge of pavement repairs and maintenance on segments of several streets.
Council members approved the $524,958.30 contract with E.R. Snell Contractors at its Jan. 28 meeting. According to city documents, the work involves crews removing affected pavement with a milling machine. The deteriorating patch of road will then stabilized and repaired using a mix of hot asphalt.
For work involving edge repair, damaged edges will be removed and new pavement, measuring up to two feet wide, will be installed and striped.

Milling and patching will take place in areas along Jones Bridge Road from McGinnis Ferry Road to Sargent Road; Medlock Crossing Parkway from Medlock Bridge Road to State Bridge Road; West Morton Road from Jones Bridge Road to State Bridge Road; Old Alabama Road from Jones Road to State Bridge Road; and Buice Road from Jones Bridge Road to State Bridge Road.
E.R. Snell Contractors will have 90 days to complete the work.
