  1. Yesterday, Sep. 9, Johns Creek police reported that police and K-9 units were tracking a suspect in the area of McGinnis Fy Road and Fawn Court. According to police, the suspect took off from a traffic stop and is described as a 5-feet 8-inches tall Black man wearing black clothing. As of yesterday evening, no further details are available. 2. In response to the growth in Atlanta's northern suburbs, Emory Johns Creek Hospital has created a 20-year expansion plan that would more than double Emory's hospital and medical office space on McGinnis Ferry Road. The Johns Creek City Council recently approved a rezoning request for the 20-year master plan. According to an Emory spokesperson, no immediate expansion projects are planned. Marilyn Margolis, CEO of Emory Johns Creek Hospital, said the master plan was "for long-term growth as future needs arise." (Biz Journals)
  3. The Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra announced its upcoming 2022-23 concert series, Resilient Spirit, Resounding Season. The orchestra has rebranded to better represent and amplify North Georgia. Linda Brill, Executive Director of the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra, said, "Our diverse audiences are cultured patrons of the arts who understand the inspirational power of the human spirit.
