Here are the top three stories today in and around Johns Creek:

  1. The LOST negotiations have brought the 15 cities of Fulton County together, with leadership sharing a message of unity. Johns Creek Mayor John Bradberry said, "There's no reason for the county that they can justify an increase in their percentage of LOST. If they want an increase in their percentage, they need to come to us, they need to come to you with a concrete proposal." The second mediation session on LOST is Friday, Oct. 7. (Appen Media)
  2. On Oct. 7 at 10:00 a.m., the Fulton County Board of Commissioners will convene a Special Called Meeting for the Mayors of Fulton County. Members of the community are invited to call the Office of the Clerk to the Commission at 404-612-8200 with any questions or concerns. (Fulton County)
  3. In nearby Milton, police captured a cow that was roaming the area of Francis Road and Thompson Road. On Sep. 29, the bovine was seen roaming the North Fulton County area, making it through the gates of Crooked Creek. Later that day, the Milton Police Department wrote, "Citizens of Milton, fear not, for the escaped prisoner has been apprehended and returned to its rightful owner." (WSB Radio)
