In Memory: Thomas Benedict, 31, Centennial Graduate
Benedict's passion for working with his hands led him to a career as a certified watchmaker.

Thomas Mark Benedict, son of Ria Benedict and Mark Benedict, was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on Oct. 29, 1987. He attended the schools of Fulton County and graduated from Centennial High School. He attended and graduated from the Nicholas G. Hayek watchmaking school.
From an early age, Thomas enjoyed using his hands to work on machines. He loved to learn how things worked and were put together. Some of the machines he had a passion for working on were computers, guns, cars and watches. His passion for tinkering led him to his career as a certified watchmaker.

Thomas had a vibrant and contagious happy energy. He lived life to the fullest and made some impactful relationships in his life. His life was tragically cut short on Friday, Jan. 25, 2019. He is survived in death by his brothers, Charles and John Benedict.
Thomas was beloved by so many people. His beautiful life was cherished by his family: his mother, Ria Benedict of New York, New York; father, Mark Benedict of Nashville, Tennessee; brothers, Charles Benedict and John Benedict, both of Alpharetta; uncles, Matt Benedict and George Benedict; aunts, Shari Benedict and Jill Keriazos; and cousins, Chris Keriazos, Tara Keriazos, Dana Keriazos, Ria Keriazos, Jake Benedict and Amelia Benedict.

His life was also cherished by a host of family and friends. He made so many friends in life. He was a devoted son, brother, nephew and friend. He will be greatly loved and missed by many.
