Here are the top three stories today in Johns Creek:

  1. Boston Scientific has finalized a lease agreement to establish a major life sciences facility in Johns Creek becoming the largest office deal of 2023 in the area. The 207,000-square-foot facility will be constructed at 11350 Johns Creek Parkway, replacing the former State Farm Campus. As part of the project, Boston Scientific intends to invest over $60 million to establish a research and development center, generating 340 new employment opportunities in the affluent Atlanta suburb.   2. The first phase of construction at Johns Creek's Cauley Creek Park is nearing completion. The park will include a 5K rubberized trail, lighted sports courts, four lighted grass and synthetic turf playing fields, a concession/restroom building, pedestrian bridges, and river overlooks.   3. A Johns Creek woman was scammed after someone claiming to be an Amazon representative accessed her credit cards. The scammer told her that someone had made a fraudulent charge on her Amazon account and that she needed to download an app called “Any Desk.” Once the app was downloaded, the scammer had access to her devices and made multiple charges on her Bank of America credit card totaling $250 and two charges on her Target credit card totaling $600.
