Open House Planned For Abbotts Bridge Road Widening
The project calls for widening Abbotts Bridge Road/Ga. 120 from Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Residents who want to learn more about a widening project for a major Johns Creek thoroughfare are invited to attend a meeting organized by the Georgia Department of Transportation.
The public input meeting on the widening of Ga. 120/Abbotts Bridge Road will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25 at Johns Creek Municipal Court at 11445 Johns Creek Parkway.
GDOT's meeting will be informal, and residents can drop in anytime from 5-7 p.m. to review the proposal for consideration.

The proposed project plans include widening Abbotts Bridge Road from two to four lanes from Medlock Bridge Road/Ga. 141 in Johns Creek to Peachtree Industrial Boulevard in Gwinnett County. The 2.5-mile project includes the replacement of the existing bridge over the Chattahoochee River and sidewalks on both side of the roadway.

Plans also call for improvements along Parsons, Wilson and Boles Road, and installing a roundabout at the Parsons-Wilson Road intersection.
