Registration Opens For Johns Creek Finest 5K

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The Johns Creek Police Department is seeking runners and walkers to take part in its annual race benefiting Special Olympics Georgia.

The Johns Creek Finest 5K will be held 8:15 a.m. Saturday, April 13 at Shakerag Park. Before the race, which is dog-, stroller-, wheelchair- and walker-friendly, will be preceded by a one-mile fun run. The fun run, designated for children, will kick off at 7:45 a.m.

Online registration is now open for the event. The 5K is $30 while the fun run is $10. Participants can click here to register for the event. Online registration will end at 11:59 p.m. April 11, and race-day registration will begin at 6:45 a.m. April 13 at River Trail Middle School, which is at 10795 Rogers Circle.

Anyone who registers by April 4 will be guaranteed a T-shirt. Following the race, there will be awards for the top male and female finishers for each age group.
