Here are the top three stories in Johns Creek today:
- Johns Creek students are working on a major project that will document the living history of the COVID-19 pandemic era. The grant project will be called "Same Storm, Different Boats" and will focus on the impact COVID has impacted people across the world - but with a particular focus on the local impact on Johns Creek. Students will use primary and secondary sources as well as videos, art, poetry, photographs, videos, and oral histories that will bring this project to life. (Appen Media)
- Bulgarian folk dancing is coming to Johns Creek, so bust out your dancing shoes. On Saturday, Oct. 26, the Northeast Spruill Oaks Library will be hosting a class on the various types of folk dances made popular in Bulgaria. You'll be able to watch expert dancers show you the steps, then try out the moves for yourself. Visit the link for more information or to register. (Best Things GA)
