Tritt Named Chief Medical Officer For Emory Johns Creek
Dr. Shawn Tritt, the vice chair of anesthesiology, has served patients and the community of Johns Creek as a physician since 2009.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — Dr. Shawn Tritt, the vice chair of anesthesiology at Emory Johns Creek Hospital, has been tapped to serve as chief medical officer of the facility. Tritt has served as a physician at the hospital since 2009, Emory Healthcare said.
The doctor has also worked in a variety of medical staff leadership roles, including interim chair and vice chair of the Professional Practice Evaluation Committee; vice chair of anesthesiology for EJCH; chair of the Ethics Committee; and member of the Medical Executive Committee, among others.
Tritt manages the Student Nurse Anesthesia Program as site director and is a member of the Data Utilization and Implementation Committee as well as the Physician Advisory Group.

Tritt received his undergraduate degree from University of Georgia and his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed a general surgery internship at the Mayo Clinic. In 2009, Tritt finished his residency in anesthesia at the University of Virginia, where he was named chief resident during the last year of his residency.
