  1. Lane closures on Interstate 285 between Roswell Road and Ashford Dunwoody Road could begin as early as Oct. 8 and could last up to eight months. The Georgia Department of Transportation announced this next phase of the I-285/Ga. 400 transform project yesterday, Oct. 3. (WSB TV)

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources confirmed a man's body was discovered yesterday, Oct. 3, in the Chattahoochee River near the Wileo Creek boardwalk – about 30 minutes away from Johns Creek. The Fulton County Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. It is unknown whether foul play is suspected in the death of the unidentified victim. (WSB TV)
