Women Robbed At Gunpoint In Johns Creek

The women pulled into the driveway of a home and were robbed by two armed men.

JOHNS CREEK, GA — The Johns Creek Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of two women reported earlier this month outside a residence on the northern side of the city.

Officers were dispatched to a call of the robbery around 10:26 p.m. Sept. 9 to Gates Terrace, which is located off Technology Circle on the south side of McGinnis Ferry Road.

Officers arrived and met with two women, who said they pulled into the driveway, and were approached by two men armed with firearms, according to an incident report released by the Johns Creek Police Department.

The men, who were wearing masks and dark clothing, told the victims to "take everything out," the report adds. One male standing on the passenger side of the vehicle was armed with a long gun while the other one hovering by the driver side door was holding a pistol.

The subjects opened the car doors and took a purse, $210 in cash, credit and debit cards and a bag containing a lunch box. Both men left in a dark-colored sedan towards the front of the gated community.

According to the report, the subjects are only identified as black men and no other physical descriptions were provided. Police have not identified any suspects, and the case remains under investigation.
