Weather permitting, a night time detour will reroute traffic at Barrett Parkway accessing I-75 Southbound in order to adjust beams, the Georgia Department of Transportation announced Thursday.Work will take place on Friday, November 13th between the off-peak hours of 10:00PM - 5:00AM, GDOT said.Barrett Parkway eastbound and westbound traffic headed to I-75 southbound will be directed to I-575/Barrett Parkway intersection and enter the interstate via the I-575 southbound entrance ramp to travel southbound onto I-75. Detours are likely to result in delays. Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving in these areas. On-site message boards indicating dates, times and detour routes will be present in advance of these closures.Please be advised that construction activities, including material deliveries, may result in traffic delays prior to the start of any lane closure or detour.
