Bridge Construction to Disrupt Town Center Mall Traffic

A night time detour will reroute traffic at Barrett Parkway and I-75 Northbound in order to set bridge beams, the Georgia Department of Transportation says.

Work will last from 11 p.m. on Sept. 25 to 5 a.m. on Sept. 26, with I-75 Northbound motorists and Barrett Parkway traffic at I-75 being detoured and rerouted with signage. No vehicles may travel under I-75 during the beam setting, GDOT says.

Detours are likely to result in delays. Motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving in these areas. Please be advised that construction activities, including material deliveries, may result in traffic delays prior to the start of any lane closure.
