Dooley to Speak to Cobb Chamber

Retired University of Georgia football coach and athletics director Vince Dooley is the guest speaker at next week's First Monday breakfast of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. 

The event, which starts at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 at the Cobb Galleria Centre, also will include the Chamber's public safety awards.

The cost is $60 for general admission; $25 for members online; and $40 for members at the door. 

Dooley has been a guiding force in the creation of varsity football at Kennesaw State, serving as chairman of an exploratory committee.

He also was on hand last fall when the KSU celebrated the approval of football by the Georgia Board of Regents. 

KSU's first football season begins in 2015.
