Driver Charged in Jay Ingram's Death
The 50-year-old from Doraville faces a misdemeanor count of vehicular homicide.

The Doraville driver who police say has been charged in his death.
William Benton, 50, is charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to maintain a lane, spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce announced.
Second-degree vehicular homicide is a misdemeanor in Georgia, punishable by a maximum of one year in jail and a fine of up to $1 million, according to the Law Office of J. Lee Webb.

Benton was given copies of the citations against him and released, Pierce said.
Benton drove the red 2012 Chevrolet Traverse that on North Booth Road near Junction Drive just after 5 a.m. Jan. 26, police have said.
