Electronics Recycling, Document Shredding This Weekend
The Saturday event will take place at the City of Kennesaw's Public Works Facility on Moon Station Road.

Kennesaw residents who need to get rid of unwanted documents or electronics can do so in an environmentally-friendly way during a free event at the city’s public works facility on Saturday.
The recycling event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the facility on Moon Station Road. Metal recycling will be done by Marietta Recycling Company, while A1 Shredding & Recycling handles the papers. Participants can bring anything from personal documents to steel, smart phones, disk drives, televisions, and radiators. A full list can be read in the flyer below.
Fees will be applied to recycle large projection/wooden console TVs ($25), regular CRT TVs ($20), and CRT computer monitors ($10). Items that cannot be recycled at this event include power equipment, tires, household trash, and non-electric equipment.

A limit of 10 boxes full of personal documents has been set for each event participant. There is no need to remove staples or paper clips.
