Free Cobb 'Zoning 101' Seminar

Join Community Development Director Rob Hosack for a “Zoning 101” short course from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Cobb Senior Center, 1150 Powder Springs St., Marietta.

The course will provide insight into zoning regulations in Cobb County, including the public participation process associated with rezoning and variance hearings. 

Learn how to organize your community and participate in supporting or opposing zoning issues that affect you and your neighbors. 

Participants will also receive a refresher course on common code violations found in neighborhoods and how to report a potential code violation to Cobb County for investigation.
